In 2014, Jason Allison faced a life-changing illness that left him hospitalized and his family in financial distress, with no income, savings, or understanding of money. After recovering, he was determined to improve his health and finances. Around that time, he met his wife, Stephanie Allison, and together they began building a new path. Inspired by the power of financial education, especially its potential to uplift Native American communities, they created Dreamcatcher Financial Solutions. Their vision is to place a licensed Native American agent in every Native American community across North America. The mission of Dreamcatcher reflects the meaning of its name: helping communities protect themselves financially, like a dreamcatcher filtering out nightmares while letting good dreams through.
