MARRIAGE & MONEY!! by Jason Allison

It is marriage time for a lot of people out there!! I see a lot of cool and beautiful photos of newlyweds and wedding photos..what an exciting time! takes me back to when me and Stephanie Allison got married!

When I got married to my wife, I had to re-prioritize. I really had to change my mindset to a less selfish and me me me me attitude… one of those transitions was financial responsibilities.

As do a lot of married couples do, we started with very little and started to accumulate assets and investments along the way. We added a couple vehicles, a home, a business, and much much more in the short 4 years we've been married. AND we're continuing to add more as we grow together.

So... one of the main things I know we needed to start our financial foundation was indeed LIFE INSURANCE!! I'm not gonna go into to much detail other then that we understand the importance that if God forbid something happened to one of us, the other would assume the financial responsibilities for both of us...now those vehicles, those investments, those properties, those assets balances would be detrimental to my wife God forbid something happened to me, and vice versa...

SO through the business we do, we put together financial plans for each other as a married couple. Life Insurance was the first. We also put together life insurance policies that do accumulate cash value and interest gains for our retirement!!

This is something I hope all my newlyweds out there consider!! we wish everyone the best in their marriages. Even our married couple who have been married for a minute, we also encourage to take a look at your financial house to see where you are at!!
